Gavel (formerly Documate) is document automation software that turns template and form documents into logic-based web applications.  

It allows anyone to customize a "TurboTax"-like document assembly workflow for any area of law.  The user-friendly authoring software makes it easy to automate legal expertise without using any code.  Lawyers can choose to set up their documents on Documate themselves, or to have Documate take over and automate all of their forms.

Our software is being used by law firms, legal aid organizations, and legal technology companies across the world.  Law firms use Gavel to automate internal form sets.
