Citadel guitarist/composer Rejyna again demonstrates how a solo performer can sound like more than one person in this Citadel 'Behind the Scenes' video
- instead of using pre-recorded tracks - Rejyna creates her accompaniment live and 'on-the-fly'
Rejyna runs through a rendition of her Citadel song 'Stygian Barque' (also titled 'Baroque Ballad Barque') using the GraphTech Ghost Midi pickup in her Godin Freeway SA (Midi or Synth guitar) with the Roland GR-20 synth guitar pedal, a Digitech JamMan Solo looper and a DigiTech Vocalist Live 3.
"Stygian Barque" is featured on the Citadel CD's "The Citadel of CYnosure & Other Tales" and on 'D'ANthologie 2 ~ Crosses or Crowns?" both of which are available at http://cdbaby.com/artist/ci...
as well as on iTunes, eMusic, Amazon and other sites.
This video was recorded live using a Kodak Zi8 camera with a line level feed from the Yamaha MG82CX sound board. You can hear these songs live by following Citadel on Facebook (http://facebook.com/citadel...
) or by checking Rejyna's solo performance schedule (http://facebook.com/citadel...
The metaphor of a boat (barque) sailing on the river Styx presents a message of internal struggle, with a merging of the heart and mind as the dream solution.
