Quantum science is starting to be applied in information, communication, sensing and computation technologies. Europe has a significant role to play in the further development and commercialization of these technologies. Combining science, engineering and entrepreneurship is needed in order to unlock the full potential of quantum technologies. In this context the Netherlands is holding the conference ‘Quantum Europe 2016’ in cooperation with the European Commission and QuTech, the quantum technology institute of TU Delft and TNO.
QuTech needs great students with the drive and talent to help us accelerate the effort to build a quantum computer and a large-scale quantum Internet. QuTech Academy @TUDelft is the first in mainland Europe to offer a targeted program in the area of Quantum Technology and Quantum Information, as part of the TU Delft Master programmes Applied Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics and Embedded Systems.
