SDG4MED SDG for the Mediterranean

"SDG4MED – Sustainable Development Goals for the Mediterranean" is an NGO which acts as an "observatory of sustainable development goals (SGDs) for the Mediterranean". It contributes to the debate on SDGs defined in the UN 2030 Agenda and it promotes international initiatives aiming at involving SMEs and Small Municipalities of the Mediterranean in achieving SGDs.
Established in 2020 as a joint initiative of Fondazione CS MARE (Italy) and Fundacion Philippe Cousteau (Spain), it evolved into an Association by incorporating CS MARE's managing staff and knowledge base. 
Its field of activities include maritime logistics, sustainable tourism, shipbuilding, marine resources (fisheries, energy from the sea, biodiversity), agriculture, renewable energy, urban logistic, transport safety & decarbonisation through digitalisation.
Entirely financially supported by its members, its HQ is in Catania and, as of as March 2020, it operates in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria, Israel and Belgium.
