Barcelona Synchrotron Park (BSP)

The Barcelona Synchrotron Park (BSP) is a new science and technology park that aims at offering technology-based companies a privileged environment and a singular location for their business in south Europe.

In the centre of the park, the ALBA synchrotron - www.cells.es - has been providing its light beams to laboratories and companies since May 2012. This 3rd-generation synchrotron (one of some 20 in the world) is unique in southwest Europe.

In addition to the synchrotron, BSP offers an attractive environment for open innovation: within a few kilometers radius of ALBA are the UAB University, the UAB research park, the Technology Vallès Park, the Eurecat technology center, the ESADE-Creapolis business center, etc., and a dense industrial network of over 10,000 companies.

IBM, Sener and T-Systems are among the first companies to have chosen BSP.
