BELLADONNA was a first for me in many ways.
The first time in a very long time I had unleashed my creative side.
It was also my first chance to right my wrong and let the infamous “Wood Skirt” (that I didn’t show on Project Runway) claim all her rightful glory, walking down NYFW's runway.
She was my first collection that I ever created in-house-designed textiles for, helping grow a very strong partnership with EPSON America, who printed all of our custom textiles.
We also made hats for the first time ever at CANDICE CUOCO.
And to really seal the deal as my favorite collection ever, we closed our show walking down the runway with a massive pack of women behind me, like the force of nature we are, instead of the normal roll call line.
It was an INCREDIBLY POWERFUL moment. A moment to forever go down in the history of my career.
