Schools across India paid tribute to Bapu’s vision of clean India by actively participating in the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign held from 15th September – 02 October, 2017. Students renewed their pledge towards cleanliness and contributed by taking part in essay writing and painting competitions. Here are a few highlights of the campaign: - 2.90 Crore students from 1st to 5th standard participated in painting competition. - 2.70 Crore students from 6th to 12th standard participated in essay competition. - More than 6.20 Lakh schools undertook Swachhata Pledges. - Vikas Prasad’s short film won the award in junior category while as Chandrakanta Naina’s short film got the award in senior category.
