My name is Matthew and I read, write, study, eat, sleep, and breathe all things nutrition, health and wellness. A student of holistic nutrition and a candidate to become a Nutrition Therapy Practitioner, I am extremely passionate about learning how to better balance the biochemical (physical), emotional (mental) and environmental (spiritual) factors that influence health while educating others on how certain foods and behaviors may advance or impede our attempts at absolute wellness. I hope to utilize this passion by specializing in addiction nutrition where years spent in active chemical dependency and the subsequent struggle with recovery make me uniquely qualified to teach others how to better utilize food, mindfulness and spirituality in order to heal the damage caused by substance abuse and disordered eating.
