As the land of opportunity grows and changes, so has the definition of success for the next generation of Americans.
A majority of Americans say they're confident they can still achieve the American Dream. Every day across the United States, a new generation is challenging tradition with a new sense of hope gained through connecting with others despite inherent differences.
We set out across the country to meet this new generation and find out how they’re shaping the new American Dream. On the journey, we met up with people like Mai, a Vietnamese-American farmer creating her own seat at the table in California; Eutimia, an indigenous healer preserving her Chicana and mestiza cultural history in Denver; and Ana, an undocumented American from Mexico weighing an inclusive future in Colorado. Here’s what they had to say.
