Eleanor Roosevelt once said "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.'
The students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School were forced to face unimaginable fears when their school was affected by senseless gun violence on February 14, 2018 . The result has been an intersectional revolution with the goal of MSDH being the last high school to experience such horrors.
On Saturday, March 24, 2018, we marched in Miami Beach to honor all of the innocent lives taken by gun violence and to honor the brave souls taking on the fight to change a system that values profits over human lives.
