Young Black And Gifted Music

Kidd Called Quest and Azariah started working together on Azariah’ Subject To Change LP  back in 2006 Kidd Called Quest who was running with the name Jay Quest at the time produced a large portion of the STC LP and the two have been working closely every since.  
Kidd Called Quest form the group Young Black and Gifted (YBG) around 2012 with artist Azariah the first name Kidd Called Quest came up with for the group was Livin Proof once Kidd Called Quest realized that the name Livin Proof was already used by a group from the mid 90s Kidd Called Quest went back to the drawing board and came up with a different name.
Azariah was the orginal artist slated to work with the Young Black and Gifted collective.  Kidd Called Quest also did work with artists Golden, King Righteous, and Verse Essential under the Young Black and Gifted collective respectfully.
