Pink Bandana

Pink Bandana is a 501(c)3 non-profit that raises awareness and funds for individuals 40 and under battling breast cancer. The organization has chosen to support this younger cancer fighter because so many of the mainstream organizations focus more on the older 45+ person. Younger women deal with a different set of issues, so giving them a voice and shoulder to lean on that understands their situation is important. Each year the organizations raise funds to help families through gifts and scholarships.

The other goal of Pink Bandana is to education and encourage younger women to be vigilant of the early warning signs of breast cancer. Too often early signs are ignored because of the idea that they are "too young" to have breast cancer. We don't want there to be fear, just acknowledgement that it could happen.
