  • End of Year Performances Play all

At the end of each year in July, our full-time students dance in performances at the Royal Opera House, featuring a mixed programme of ballet designed to showcase the range of balletic skills they have learned during their training.

The very first such performance took place in 1959, when then students Antoinette Sibley and Graham Usher starred in the School’s staging of Coppélia Act I. Since then, current and former stars of the ballet world have taken to the stage with the School. The season usually starts with five performances in the Royal Opera House Linbury Studio Theatre and culminates with a matinée performance on the main stage.

However, in 2016 we returned to Opera Holland Park for our Summer Performances, 15 years since our last run at the venue.
