#IAMCONSTITUTION campaign is the Foundation’s national campaign encouraging citizens to read, embrace and live the Constitution, to celebrate the achievements of South Africa and constructively confront challenges to reach the country’s fullest potential. This hugely successful campaign reaches millions through social media and traditional coverage to celebrate our most precious asset, promote the values and benefits of the Constitution, and encourage dialogue among all who live in South Africa.
In order to achieve our goals, we initiated innovative art forms, such as beat boxing, fine art, sand sculptors, graffiti and mural walls, drama performances, heritage tours as well as an award-winning TV series in order to reach the widest possible audience for the #IAMCONSTITUTION Campaign. As part of this outreach, thousands of educational tools were produced including #IAMCONSTITUTION T-Shirts, bangles and interactive videos. Educational materials such as Constitutional booklets in several languages, including Braille, were distributed to schools and to the general public. The result was a campaign that has touched the lives of millions of South Africans.
