Musa Horti

Musa Horti has been a well-established name in the choral scene in Flanders for many years. The ensemble consists of thirty-three committed singers and has been continuously led by Peter Dejans since its foundation in November 1989. It has been associated with Abdij van Park in Heverlee near Leuven (Belgium). Under his impetus, the ensemble constantly strives to explore new paths and actively seeks out rarely performed and musically high-quality music from all periods, with a preference for contemporary choral music. This drive has led to Musa Horti being increasingly appreciated as a sought-after (first) performer of contemporary choral compositions, often of local origin. In addition to the high degree of refinement, the warm and expressive choral sound of Musa Horti particularly stands out.
