The Research Ethics Lecture Series creates a new opportunity for students, educators, researchers, and the members of the community to explore the impacts of science as being integrated in a broader social context and to be exposed to new ways of spotting how value claims, whether epistemic or moral, shape the scientific enterprise.
Maybe you know someone cheating in class. Or you know someone getting bullied or intimidated because of their beliefs. Or maybe you have experienced something like this yourself. It's not always easy or clear to decide what to do. We know.
The Rock Ethics Institute knows that you face ethical challenges in your personal life, as a student, and as a citizen. We can help. By working with you to develop tools to identify ethical challenges and issues, weigh options, and consider other viewpoints, we can help you take a stand for your beliefs and the interests of others.
The Principles Curriculum is designed to help you understand and live the values and principles that make us a community, that make us Penn State proud.
