The New Holland Farmer's Creed was originally written for New Holland in 1975, author unknown:
I believe a mankind’s greatest possession is dignity and that no calling bestows this more abundantly than being stewards of the earth
I believe hard work and honest sweat are the building blocks of a person’s character.
I believe that farming, ranching and building, despite their hardships and disappointments, are the most honorable ways we can spend our time on this Earth.
I believe agriculture and construction pursuits nurture the close family ties that makes life rich in ways money can’t buy.
I believe I am learning values that will last a lifetime and can be offered no other way.
I believe that true happiness comes from watching your crops ripen in the field, your calves taking their first steps, new structures growing out of the dust, and your whole family feeling the pride that springs from their shared experience.
I believe that my toil is giving more to the world than I am taking from it, an honor that does not come to all professions.
I believe my work will be measured ultimately by what I have done for my fellow man, and by this standard I fear no judgment.
I believe that as I extend this heritage, I can stand tall and feel pride in my contributions.
I believe in farming, ranching and building because it makes this all possible.
