On April 30, Send Silence Packing will be on the campus of County College of Morris.
Send Silence Packing is a nationally recognized traveling exhibition of 1,100 donated backpacks, representing the number of college students lost to suicide each year. The program is designed to raise awareness about the incidence and impact of suicide, connect students to needed mental health resources, and inspire action for suicide prevention.
The event runs from 11am to 7pm with a Candlelight Vigil at 7pm featuring guest speakers Tricia and Kurtis Baker, co-founders of AIR (Attitudes In Reverse, www.AttitudesInReverse.org).
