The Gingerbread House Sanctuary & Rescue

The Gingerbread House Sanctuary & Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in northern New Jersey for Pekingese and similar small-breed dogs. We focus on seniors, hospice, and special needs dogs that require experienced fosters and adopters, or that are not adoptable due to their age, health, or special needs. We take owner surrenders and also partner with local shelters and rescues to save these precious souls so they are not euthanized. Many of these dogs have been neglected physically, medically, and emotionally. We provide them with a sanctuary where they are well cared for and loved during their golden years. While in our care, we provide for their ongoing veterinary care, medication, food, continence care, grooming, and training. The Gingerbread House is 100% volunteer and foster based and all donations are 100% tax deductible.
