The Pop Culture Hero Coalition is a 501c3 working in the intersection of mental health and civil rights. It was founded in 2013 by Chase Masterson with Carrie Goldman (Harper Collins' Bullied) & Matt Langdon (The Hero Construction Company). The Coalition is the 1st-ever organization to use stories from TV, comics, and film, to work against bullying, misogyny, racism, LGBTQIA-bullying, cyber-bullying, and other forms of hate. We work in a limited number of schools, and we have a strong outreach at Comic Cons. We are piloting our 32-lesson plan Heroic Journey Curriculum in early 2019, toward the goal of widespread distribution. We use the phenomenon of pop culture to bring mental health support and inspire heroic action in real life. Please help spread the word about this groundbreaking Coalition as we work for a better planet in ways kids and adults find relatable. Thanks for your support!
