Each day, approximately 30 children come into foster care in Arizona. They’ve been neglected or physically, sexually or emotionally abused by the very people they should have been able to depend on to keep them safe. Most children come into foster care with little more than the clothes on their back or what they can carry in a trash bag. Tomorrow, they will wake up in the care of a complete stranger. They’ve never ridden a bicycle or sat down for a family meal. They’re most likely behind in their development and behind a grade level if they’re of school age.

The Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation is the only organization in the State that provides these ‘something extras’ for children in foster care. We receive no State or government funding.
