Two projects that are "firsts of a kind" in their own right. Artist John Gerrard's sophisticated use of visual technology to create a window into an alternate universe in the middle of New York City. SolarReserve's solar thermal power plant that generates electricity both day and night - powered only by the sun.
The Lincoln Center, in association with Public Art Fund, is currently featuring John Gerrard's large-scale digital art installation simulating SolarReserve's Crescent Dunes Project. The work will be displayed on a massive 28 x 24 foot LED wall at the Josie Robertson Plaza from October 3rd through December 1st 2014.
