The National Regulatory System for Community Housing is a new regulatory system for the regulation of community housing providers across Australia.

Community housing providers are organisations that deliver social or affordable housing for people on lower incomes and housing-associated services covered by the social and affordable housing policies of government policy and funding agencies.

Commonwealth, state and territory governments have developed the NRSCH as part of their commitment to social housing reform under the National Affordable Housing Agreement (NAHA).

One of these reforms is the development of a nationally consistent regulatory system to enhance the sector's capacity to operate across jurisdictions, which will support the capacity and growth of the community housing sector.
