Roager Lab

Henrik Munch Roager and his research group at Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sports, University of Copenhagen, seeks to advance nutrition research by providing new answers on personal dietary responses and mode of actions of individual dietary components by studying what takes place in the gut. The lab combines the fields of metabolomics, gut microbiome and human nutrition with the aim of i) identifying gut microbial molecules resulting from digestion of foods and ii) investigating how these molecules influence health and disease.
