Student Success Zones are areas of the Library that you can explore from your mobile device through the power of

    proximity beacons.

There are five zones spread throughout the Library, and each zone has a lot of fun stuff to explore.

Each zone will have a big sign that features this symbol.

When you see one of these signs, take out your smartphone or tablet. In order to explore each Student Success

Zone, you will need to download the Physical Web app.

This app is available on both Android and iOS, so just hop over to the app store or Google Play and search for the

    Physical Web.

The app will look like this. Once the app is installed, open it on your mobile device.

Your device will start looking for nearby beacons.

When you are near a beacon, you will be notified and see an SDSU Library link pop up. Tap the link, and you will

then see a website that has been created specifically for the zone you are standing in.

There are videos, tutorials, links, and other information related to that zone. You will also see a short survey

on each beacon website that will give you the opportunikty to tell us if you thought the information on the page

    was helpful.

Please give us feedback so we make these pagesIf you visit all 5 of the Student Success Zones, you will be entered

into a drawing for a $10 gift card.

We are giving away 20 gift cards, so your chances of winning are pretty good! So what are you waiting for? Start

exploring the Library’s Student Success Zones!
