The Royal Logistic Corps

The Royal Logistic Corps is the largest corps in the British Army and forms its vital logistical backbone by delivering essential support that enables the Army to operate effectively worldwide.. Established in 1993 through the amalgamation of five historic units: The Royal Corps of Transport, Royal Army Ordnance Corps, Royal Pioneer Corps, Army Catering Corps, and Royal Engineers Postal and Courier Service.

From supplying ammunition, fuel, rations and equipment, to transporting personnel and materiel by road, sea, rail and air, the RLC manages movements, distribution, catering, postal services, fuel supply, and battlefield recovery. 

Affectionately known as the “Loggies,” its soldiers and officers deploy on every major British Army operation, often in demanding and high-threat environments. Comprising both Regular and Reserve units stationed across the United Kingdom and overseas, the RLC lives by its motto: We Sustain.
