Claire Germain Nail

This is a trailer for the book Saint Sullivan's Daughter, by Claire Germain Nail. My novel tells the story of a 6 year old girl and her bi-racial family (anglo-latino) during the 1960's in Los Angeles, California. When her family starts to fall apart, and a accident threatens her life, the family elders, Irish and Mexicans, consult a traditional healer or curandera. Will the child's hard-drinking, jazz musician father step up to the plate, when there is no one else to save her?
