Greetings! I saw this on Facebook and showed it to Noreen and she loved it and truth be told, so did I! I immediately began to try and do this in my hallway where we have two sconce lights that were the perfect candidates for this application!
This is such a simple little home decor project and if you are anything like us, you have some canning jars you can put to use here. Simple tools are needed and if you don't have a hole saw like I do, you can simply use a nail to make holes all around the center circle on the lid and then pop it out and file it smooth. You can do this!
I did this for both lights in just under half an hour and it was simple and it looks great! We have CFL's in the lights now but we are looking for some of the reproduction Edison light bulbs to put in these lights. I think they will look awesome!
