  • Salome CAD/CAE Integration Platform Play all

    SALOME is a cross-platform open-source software providing generic solutions for pre- and post-processing for numerical simulation.
    The softwre can be used as standalone CAD/CAE application for creation or import of CAD models, for preparation for numerical calculations, and for post-processing of the calculation results.
    It can also be used as a platform for easy integration of external third-party numerical codes ensuring full life-cycle management.
    SALOME Platform makes possible:
    - Creating/modifying, import/export (IGES, STEP, BREP, etc), repairing/cleaning CAD models
    - Meshing CAD models, editing mesh, checking mesh quality, import/export of mesh (MED, UNV, DAT, STL, etc)
    - Attaching physical properties and quantities to geometrical items
    - Performing computations using one or more external solvers (coupling)
    - Displaying computation results (scalar, vectorial)
    - Managing studies (create, save, reload)
    - Easy connecting third-party codes, extending SALOME capabilities.
