Stages on the Sound

Founded in 2006, Stages on the Sound is theater company with an educational arts residency program, partnering with schools and community organizations to create new and inspiring works of theatre that capture the imagination of students, parents, and teachers. We have worked with over 100 schools in New York City, providing semester-long classes on film, playwriting and Shakespeare to over 16,000 students every week. 

In 2014, Stages expanded its in-school programming to several schools in Albany NY. In partnership with Quality Services for the Autistic Community (QSAC), Stages developed, piloted and has continued to expand it unique curriculum for children and adults on the autism spectrum.  

We bring an exciting and engaging experience to students, delivering phenomenal academic and theatrical education with dramatic results.
