American Music Institute is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded and run by Remus Badea, our Executive Director. AMI’s mission is to provide a high standard of music education to all students in all instruments, levels, ages, and styles of music. Our principle objective is to preserve the art of music education and music performance for future generations of the American society.

AMI’s main campuses are located in Clarendon Hills and St. Charles, Illinois. We are a leading pre-collegiate music school in the Chicagoland area specializing in quality music education and professional music performance. AMI offers a variety of programs in all disciplines of music and for all ages, levels, and styles of music.
