The Camino Side Project - Paul Farran

Recorded on the road and inspired by world travels, The Camino Side Project is indie alt rock with acoustic tones. 

The Camino Side Project is Paul Farran’s first solo music project. His debut album, of movement & music, was recorded on 4 continents and 11 countries, in 14 studios, over 18 months (2017-2018), and with the collaboration of 25 fellow musicians and music professionals. 

The Camino Side Project evolved as Paul, his wife Susanne, and their 2 little children backpacked for a half year during 2016 and 2017. Leaving Zimbabwe, where they had settled as international development workers for 6 years, they made their way to South East Asia and back to Africa, composing, recording and collaborating along the way. 

Prior, Paul was guitarist, songwriter and co-founder of Montreal-based alt-rock band, Pacer. Since, Paul has spent the better part of the last 12 years travelling, working and living in different regions of the world.
