Allen Portman

Involved extensively over four-decades of music and audio production, starting out as a drummer and migrating to bass guitar after eight-years as drummer. The bass guitar became my forte instrument and ever since have played weekly for several mid to large-size churches, studio/session projects, and supporting numerous bands and artists. Currently play bass for a mid-size church in the Houston area, own a project studio, and transitioning into a greater roles into the world of creative arts and production. I enjoy working with other musicians and artists that may not have the opportunity and privileges to develop and expand their artistic abilities independently! It is all about going from an "okay", "so so", "good" artists to an "excellent", "great", or "exceptional" artists. This transition or transformation is not as near as musicians/artists perceive it to be ! Taking artists to a higher place is often not pleasant in the midst, but when it occurs every sacrifice is worth it!
