The Manitoba Institute for Policy Research is based in the department of Political Studies in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Manitoba. Formed in 2010 with support from the Government of Manitoba, the University of Manitoba's Academic Enhancement Fund, the Faculty of Arts and the Department of Political Studies, MIPR pursues collaborative and interdisciplinary research in the areas of public policy, administration, and governance. The Institute engages academics, government, the private and non-profit sectors, and citizens of Manitoba on a wide variety of policy issues concerning Manitoba, Western Canada, and Canada in general. This YouTube channel is one avenue for the Institute to engage with the public. Here you will find recordings from all of our public events as well as some other promotional materials created specifically for YouTube. Find out more about MIPR and the work we do at mipr.ca
