AILA Pre-Panel: Translating the News: Rio On-line Pre-Conference
AILA Pre-Panel: Translating the News: Rio On-line Pre-Conference Time is a scarce resource in academia. This is why the convenors of the Rio panel of the AILA Research Network on Media Linguistics have launched a pre-conference series of on-line interventions. The objective of the series was to initiate a preliminary exploration of the panel themes. In the next few days members of the AILA Research Network on Media Linguistics will upload a pechakucha presentation. Pechakucha is a concise presentation format in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each. Using the YouTube social network comment management system, the floor will be open to an on-line discussion. In the opening session of the panel at the Rio conference, the convenors will present a summary of the on-line interventions.
