On 19th May we invited pupils from the local primary school in Burnham Market to help our landscape team complete the planting of the events room. Earlier this year our education team asked pupils to design the four flowerbeds in this area and the winners of each design had an information board created showing their beautiful and colourful creations. Viscountess Coke, who judged the competition, welcomed pupils, teachers and the media who all came along to watch the children hard at work planting the hundreds of bedding plants.
On 6th September 2012 a group of amateur but enthusiastic - and some might say foolhardy, cyclists set out on an epic 10 day 800 mile ride back from Switzerland to Norfolk. On the face of it the course looked downhill, however, the team had to attend to 4,500 metres of climbs, including eight Category 5 slopes (as seen on the Tour de France). This was not a ride for the faint hearted.
