O. W. Kuusinen, one of the leader's of the Finnish Communists gives a detailed explanation of the Finnish Communist Revolution of 1918.
He gives many reasons for the failure of the revolution: tactically mistakes, lack of weapons and especially lack of trained officers but among the most important difficulties were the lack of real Marxism in the Finnish Social-Democratic Party which carried out the revolution.
