In the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, hundreds of thousands of the dead in Haiti were scooped up in backhoes, deposited in dump trucks and hauled of to mass grave burial pits. Considering this an affront to humanity, Jim Lange established Haiti Recovery & Development Company, LLC (HR&DC) with the expressed purpose of providing "Dignity for the Dead, Hope and Opportunity for the Living in Haiti." HR&DC operates as a “government facilitating organization (GFO)” by acting as an ad-hoc government services capacity builder to enable long-term self sustaining prosperity for Haiti and her people. This YouTube channel supports HR&DC's efforts to make good on that promise and the goal to help foster a Haitian Renaissance.
