We are a Christ-centered ministry providing food and life's most basic necessities for those in need in Henderson County, NC.

Our ongoing mission since 2000:that each person in Henderson Co. has sufficient food & hygiene items to live life w/dignity & w/out hunger. Community partnerships provide monthly food for 325+ families in need. Our countywide delivery routes assist 50+- homebound seniors in need. 

Since 2000, 'Blessings in Boxes' has partnered with local elementary schools and agencies in Henderson Co. to identify families needing assistance at Christmas. We collect specific gift ideas for each child in the family & ask our community to adopt a child or family to bless at Christmas. 2005 children from 702 families had a merrier Christmas in 2023!
