E3 is out the way and we have a better idea of the new and upcoming PC games for 2018. These are our top new PC games, presented in no particular order other than how they popped into our heads. With nukes, floods, tornados and sheep all heading to PC, these are the top upcoming games to watch out for.
Noa and Matthew have picked their best upcoming PC games for 2018. Despite some nerves about online play, Matthew is hankering for the mythological beasts of Fallout 76, and looks forward to tearing up the British countryside in Forza Horizon 4. It’s a fantasy for him as he failed his driving test nine whole times.
Noa isn't as easily won over by Forza Horizon 4’s virtual sheep and turns instead to the apocalyptic action of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. For those who want to see some ancient tombs when they were shiny and new, she’s also down for some Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Truly there’s a new game for everybody on PC in 2018.
Battlefield 5 is another one of our top new games for 2018; look beyond the noise about lady soldiers and this is bursting with subtle tweaks and ideas. Far less subtle is the delightly OTT world of Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami - the legendary PlayStation thug ‘em ups are finally heading to PC in 2018. If you want to smash a bike over a thug’s head, this is for you.
