Belshazzer the king of babylon made a feast in the palace hall.
He trembled when he saw the hand of a man as he wrote upon the wall
All the king's wise men unto the king were called
but they couldn't read or understand the handwriting on the wall.
Then old Daniel was brought before the king to see what was written there.
He said King that's my father's writing I'd know it anywhere.
and in the balances are weighed and you're found wanting and your kingdom soon will fall
that's what you'd see if you could read the handwriting on the wall.
This old world someday will crumble and heaven will melt away. There's a book, there's a book there's a Holy book that will never pass away.
If your world looks safe all around you and it seems it will never fall, you better look at the book and you better read... the handwriting on the wall.
Though some may say that it's hard to read or hard to understand
that book has been my refuge.. my rock in a weary land.
and no one can improve it, no other book can compare, you see that's my father's writing I'd know it anywhere
