Bronx Museum Education

As the current public health crisis has paused our in-person programming, the Bronx Museum Education Department has taken this opportunity to highlight existing online materials and to create new ways of engaging with our community. We have developed the following four categories for virtual content: Guided Tours, Art Studio, Meet The Artist, and Sharing Stories. While the museum remains closed to the public we will continue to create new virtual content that encourages connections with art and celebrates and promotes youth creativity.

The Bronx Museum’s Education Department focuses on arts programs which empower students to express themselves, develop deep and career-enhancing skills, and see themselves as agents of change in their immediate communities and the world. We envision and work toward the museum as a more equitable space where marginalized voices, particularly those of youth, can be heard.
