  • T’xwelátse is Finally Home

    1,915 views 4 years ago
In 1892, Stone T’xwelátse was taken from his home, family and community in S'ólh Téméxw. In October of 2006 - 114 years later - our transformed ancestor was brought home after years of work on behalf of his family and friends beginning in 1991. This documentary tells the story of our ancestor's origins, teachings, and history - leading to this international repatriation from the Burke Museum in Washington State, through the Nooksack Indian Tribe, to the Stó:lō of British Columbia.
