1. Conservation of state's rich bio-cultural diversity and heritage.
2. State forests to preserve and promote environmental sustainability and to establish the ecological balance

4. Protection of Wildlife animals and comprehensive development of wildlife protected areas.
5. Production and disposal of timber, fuel, bamboo according to the working plan.
6. Maximize benefit to collectors through collection of non-wood forest products, storage, value addition.
7. Expansion forest area to Non-forestry areas.
