Slips and Falls: A Message to Professional Truck Drivers features Kirk Wilson, an in-house Wilson Logistics employee, who randomly decides to become an over-the-road truck driver. In this comedy, you'll notice that Kirk didn't receive the proper training to become a truck driver. While shooting a video for his upcoming YouTube channel, Kirk doesn't use proper technique getting out of the truck, and he isn't wearing proper footwear. This causes Mr. Wilson to take a pretty bad spill out of his Freightliner and hilarity ensues. Wilson Logistics teaches our CDL students and professional truck drivers to use three points of contacts when getting in and out of their truck. Drivers should also be wearing slip-resistant and closed toed shoes while trucking. Professional truck drivers are just that, professionals, and the best focus on safety at all times. Nothing is more important than safety, and we always wish our drivers safety while out on the road.
