the drama dolls

Welcome to the official drama dolls youtube channel, who were a north west UK indie rock band blending intense & dark lyrics with powerful driven guitar music & anthemic incendiary vocals.

The sold out debut EP - the sublime art of self importance was released may 2015 on velvet ant records as a numbered limited edition cd. The highly anticipated debut album REQUIEM mastered by Pete Maher (of U2 & Garbage fame) was released July 2016 to fantastic reviews & saw their sound expanded with ambient soundscapes & string sections. The band was disbanded early 2017 with a definite feeling of mission accomplished. The 2nd and 3rd albums were written and demo'd but remain unreleased.

the drama dolls were songwriter Mike Cambridge (all round control freak) who produces, mixes and makes the videos as well as playing most instruments:-
