Founded in Rio de Janeiro in 2015, the colletive S.E.R. — Samba-Enredo de Raiz celebrates and preserves the samba-enredo songs that have shaped generations of Brazilian Carnival.

Conceived by Igor Vianna, the group brings together musicians and a repertoire spanning samba schools and eras, turning musical heritage into a collective experience.

A regular presence at Baródromo since its founding, the group has performed at samba school courtyards and participated in the 2026 Estandarte de Ouro awards, sharing stages with nationally renowned artists.

Through music releases and recordings, the group continues to expand its reach, including 'Apoteose', featuring sambas associated with Salgueiro, Portela, Unidos da Tijuca, and Beija-Flor.

Samba-Enredo de Raiz connects generations, schools, and stories, bringing the emotion of Carnival’s iconic songs beyond the parade avenue.
