Galway based songwriter New Pope has quietly developed an enduring mystique as a composer of endearingly self-reflective and reassuringly romantic songs. His music sometimes draws comparisons to Fionn Regan, David Kitt and Lou Reed through it’s drowsy, meandering profundity and nuanced narrative style.
