majarlica

Majarlica (Angel Tagadtad) is a Filipina-Canadian singer-songwriter and multidisciplinary artist from Brampton, Ontario. Working across R&B, soul, and screen-based storytelling, her work explores love, identity, vulnerability, resilience, and the complexities of becoming oneself.

Her artistic identity, Majarlica, represents the woman she once needed to look up to: a contemporary Filipina who is both tender and sovereign, grounded in her story while unafraid to take up space. Drawing from personal experiences, she transforms intimate stories into reflections on belonging, relationships, self-worth, and transformation.

Through music and visual storytelling, Majarlica creates deeply personal work that invites audiences to look inward and find pieces of their own stories within it.
