No one has 100 fears, we all have a limited number of fears and then, there are 1000 ways to face those. A common fear I think most of us have is fear of embarrassment. We don't want others to think that we are crazy, so we try to behave as civilized as possible even though sometimes we feel like expressing ourselves. So I decided to get out of my comfort zone and shamelessly dance, sing, pose and express myself.
No one has 100 fears, we all have a limited number of fears and then, there are 1000 ways to face those. I am big when it comes to control. I try to control every situation that happens around me and that is extremely exhausting and frustrating. There are so many things humans can't control that if controlling is our main objective we will most likely fail and feel miserable about it. That's why I decided to just.. let it go and face fears where nothing is under my control.
No one has 100 fears, we all have a limited number of fears and there are 1000 ways to face those. One of my BIG fears is to feel pain, so I avoid painful experiences at all cost! These are some of the pain-related fears I've faced so far.
On April 6th I started a 100 day project where I decided to face most of my fears. It took me 6 months to do it (70 consecutive days, 30 not so consecutive) but I did it! On October 18th I faced my final fear: Speaking at TEDxHouston and inspiring as many people as possible to leave their comfort zones and start living life to the fullest! Here are all the videos I created, but some posts were not necessarily videos. Read all about it on my blog www.100dayswithoutfear.com
